CollPoll, a Mobile-first Campus Automation Platform that helps educational institutions streamline all academic and administrative operations, announced important additions to the technology and customer success divisions.
Sabari Girish Parampoor has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Kunal Deep has been named Vice President – Customer Success. Dr. Parag Diwan has joined CollPoll’s Board of Advisors with immediate effect, the company said in its statement.
Sabari will oversee technology strategy, improve operations, and drive growth. He will also be responsible for building a strong engineering culture aimed towards delivering solutions at scale, the statement said.
In a career spanning over 18 years, Sabari was the Director of Engineering in the CTO Office at Indegene. In 2013, Sabari co-founded Rideler, a smart carpooling solution, optimized for the daily commute, and acted as the CTO of the startup. Prior to that, Sabari was a senior management team member at Manhattan Associates and VMware and was responsible for leading the Research and Development (R&D) Integration India team at the former in addition to spearheading Full-stack projects using J2EE at the latter.
In his new role, Kunal will be heading the Customer Success function and will lead the implementation of products in educational institutions while building a long-term relationship with them. With over 13+ years of experience, Kunal is the Co-founder and CEO of EduSaksham, an Edutech startup that provides aspirants with test series content to help them prepare better for all competitive exams and qualify for their favorite colleges or posts. Prior to that, he was a senior team member at Deloitte. Kunal started his career at Infosys.
Dr. Parag will be advising CollPoll on its overall strategy for products as well as assist in the development of specific functionalities such as accreditation and ranking tools. His insights will further grow the company and to this end, will help in gaining more momentum to the vision of digitising educational institutions. Dr. Parag has 35+ yrs of experience in education, energy and entrepreneurship. He is also the Chairman of Paradigm Consultants & Resource Management Pvt. Ltd – a management consulting firm that provides resources to tech-centric startup ideas and helps budding entrepreneurs turn their ideas into a reality. Prior to that, Dr. Parag was the President and CEO of Great Lakes Education Group.
In April 2015, Dr. Parag joined Laureate International Universities as the Chief Academic Officer for Energy Programmes. He was also the Founder and Vice-Chancellor of University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) in addition to previously being the Dean and Director of All India Management Association (AIMA) – Centre for Management Education.
