Eveready Industries India has appointed Sandeep Banerjee as its Chief Human Resources Officer, according to ETHRWorld report. He will be reporting to Suvamoy Saha, MD of the company.
In his new role, Banerjee will be responsible for the HR, IR and CSR functions of the organisation.
Banerjee has over 26 years of experience in the HR domain. He has led the HR function globally in multi-cultural environments in MNCs and large Indian enterprises. He has the experience of leading HR in Manufacturing as well as Services sectors.
Prior to this role, Banerjee was President – HR at H & R Johnson (India) – Prism Johnson. He has also led HR functions in companies like Orient Electric, Taj Hotels and Reliance Industries. Banerjee’s diverse experience in HR/IR spreads across sectors, including light engineering, heavy industry, pharmaceutical, services & hospitality , aviation, fashion, sports, convention centre and diverse corporate functions.
