Mahindra Holidays & Resorts announced the appointment of Sujit Vaidya as the CFO, effective from June 1, 2021, according to ETCFO report. He succeeds Akhila Balachandar who resigns from the post after serving five years in the company.
Vaidya’s previous stint included his service at Disney India where he worked for seven years before he left the firm in June last year. He has almost three decades of experience across industries including having spent the last 10 years in various CFO roles within Castrol/BP and Disney. He has worked in international markets including South East Asia, Middle East and the UK in several leadership roles spanning across financial control & reporting, business performance and risk management, as well as planning and strategy.
Vaidya holds a B. Com degree in Economics, Accountancy and Audit from University of Mumbai, and A.C.A Management Accounting and Audit from Institute of Chartered Accountant of India.
