Gland Pharma Limited announced the appointment of K Raghuram Chandra Rao, VP (Quality Assurance), as Head – Quality of the company, with effect from March 30, 2024. K.V.G.K. Raju would cease to be the Chief Technical Officer and Head of Quality of the Company with effect from 29th March, 2024; due to his superannuation.
K Raghuram Chandra Rao joined Gland Pharma Limited on 1st December, 1999 as an Executive in Quality Assurance and rose to the level of Vice-President. He has more than 25 years of experience in Quality Systems.
Raghuram has been involved in developing and executing quality systems and designing the quality metrics to regulate the quality of medicines specifically in the area of parenteral formulations. He has also been involved in training and development of various aspects of quality systems. He is actively involved in Production Data Acquisition (PDA) in the knowledge sharing process.
Starting his career in academics and worked for two years before moving into the industry, Raghuram worked for brief stints with AstraZeneca and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, prior to joining Gland Pharma.
