GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Limited (GSK) announced the appointment of Omkar Parnandiwar as Head of Omnichannel, with effect from November 1, 2023.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we hereby inform you that the appointment of Mr. Omkar Parnandiwar, Head of Omnichannel effective 1st November, 2023. He will be part of the Senior Management team of the Company.”
Omkar joined GSK in April 2022 having worked with Novartis and AkzoNobel previously. He has significant experience across sales and marketing roles of increasing responsibility. At GSK, he has led the primary care marketing team and has been crucial in leading innovation and performance across our largest portfolio, according to the statement.
Omkar holds a bachelor ‘s degree in information technology engineering from Mumbai University and a PGDM in management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
Omkar brings a strong commercial acumen and his track record of technology led innovation to this role, a statement said.
