HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited announced the re-appointment of Bharti Gupta Ramola as Independent Director on the company’s Board, with effect from February 12, 2024.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “This is to inform that the Board of Directors in its meeting held today i.e. October 13, 2023, based on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, have considered and approved re‐appointment of Ms Bharti Gupta Ramola (DIN: 00356188) as an Independent Director, for a second term of five (5) consecutive years with effect from February 12, 2024, subject to the approval of the shareholders.”
Bharti Gupta Ramola has PG Diploma in Management from the IIM, Ahmedabad and B.Sc Physics (Hons.) from St Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. Ms. Ramola also serves on the Boards of TATA Steel Limited, SRF Limited and Villgro Innovations Foundation. She also serves on the Governing Body of the Lady Shriram College and the Advisory Council of Transforming Rural India Foundation. She was a partner at PwC during 1992‐ 2017.
