Mumbai-based new-age financial company, InCred Finance has hired Philipp Orgler to lead the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to power the next phase of its business growth. Orgler has over 20 years of experience in financial analytics.
Prior to this, Orgler was the global head of structured products at Barclays Capital and also ran the global structured notes business for Mizuho. He also worked with Deutsche Bank and carried out analytics work for the global fund manager Rokos, according to a press statement shared by InCred.
Commenting on the appointment, Prithvi Chandrasekhar, Head of Risk and Analytics at InCred Finance, said: “I am delighted to welcome Philipp to InCred. Analytics and Machine Learning are core to our business vision. With a distinguished professional like Philipp joining the team, we will be able to take our capabilities to an even more advanced level.”
Orgler has a Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from Karl-Franzens University Austria. He has also carried out post-graduate research in Mathematical Physics at the University of Tokyo.
