Jyothi Labs Limited, a Mumbai-based FMCG company, announced the appointment of Aditya Sapru as Independent Director on the company’s Board, effective March 28, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we wish to inform you that based on the recommendation of the Nomination, Remuneration and Compensation Committee of the Company, the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today i.e. Monday, March 28, 2022, have approved the appointment of Mr. Aditya Sapru (DIN – 00501437) as an Independent Director of the Company for a term of 5 years commencing from March 28, 2022 to March 27, 2027.”
Aditya Sapru is the Founder and Managing Director of Neumck Strategy & Consulting, a strategy advisory company based out of Bangalore. Aditya Sapru has expertise in working with organizations to build their growth strategy for the medium to long term. Neumck Strategy & Consulting works with clients across the world in helping them address their market expansion aspirations and restructuring their businesses to achieve their objectives. Aditya Sapru has an MBA from Santa Clara University, with specialization in Finance and Operations Research and an MS from Cornell University. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics, focused on better understanding how generative innovation happens in a resource constrained environment. He started his professional career as an Associate at a Silicon Valley based private equity firm with focus on tech in Asia Pacific & the United States.
Aditya has a hands-on experience in organizational transformation and restructuring. Aditya was previously Group President (Strategy) for Hinduja Group a_ transnational conglomerate with assets in Banking & Finance, Energy, Automobiles, Chemicals, Healthcare, Media & Technology, Outsourcing, Real Estate etc.
Aditya was a Partner and Managing Director South Asia & Middle East with Frost & Sullivan, a global research and consulting firm. He was among the first set of senior management offered a global Partnership with the firm. His role at Frost & Sullivan was to build the firm’s business presence in Asia. Sapru built a business in South Asia from scratch and contributed directly towards achieving $ 15+ Million in consulting billings in Asia during the years he was based in Asia. He was also involved with establishing an India based offshore Center of Excellence for the Company; one of the first knowledge service delivery centers in the world.
