Light & Wonder appoints Ritu Bhati as VP – HR, India

Ritu Bhati

Light & Wonder Inc., a US-based cross-platform games and entertainment company, has appointed Ritu Bhati as Vice President, Human Resources, India, according to ET report.

Bhati comes with over two and a half decades of experience in IT & ITES, Consulting and Banking industries. She has rich experience as an HR Leader, managing growth, transformation, acquisitions and culture building. She has also worked extensively across specific verticals in Human Resources, such as Employee Relations, Policy and Processes, Compliance, Learning and Diversity.

Before joining Light & Wonder, Bhati worked with Accenture over the last eight and a half years, serving in two countrywide positions and one global role. In her career journey, she has spent a decade with IBM across various leadership roles, including countrywide roles such as Diversity, Employee Relations, and University relations. She was pivotal in establishing the Global Service Delivery Centre from scratch for IBM in India.

In her new role, Bhati will be responsible for the creation and execution of the Human Resources Strategy for Light & Wonder offices located in Bengaluru, Chennai and Pune. She will assist the offices with growth and becoming a value-based organization that is directionally focused on innovation in India, according to a statement.

Bhati is a postgraduate in Personnel Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree.
