Manappuram Finance Limited, a gold financing company, announced the appointment of Dr. Sumitha Jayasankar and Veliath Pappu Seemanthini to its Board of Directors.
“Dr. Sumitha Jayasankar has been appointed as an Additional Director (Executive) on the Board of the Company with effect from January 01, 2023; subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing General Meeting/Postal ballot of the Company,” the statement said.
“Adv. Veliath Pappu Seemanthini (DIN: 07850522) has been appointed as an Additional Director (Non-Executive, Independent) on the Board of the Company with effect from December 23,2022, pursuant to Section 149, 150, 152 ,161(1) of Companies Act 2013, read with the Companies (Appointment and Qualification of Directors) Rules, 2014 and other applicable provisions thereof, subject to the approval of shareholders at the ensuing General Meeting/Postal ballot of the Company,” according to the company’s statement.
