Adobe has appointed Nanda Kambhatla to head the company’s research team in India. He will be based in Bengaluru, and will lead the company’s research initiatives – Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Big-Data Analytics and Insight, and Content Intelligence technologies.
Nanda is an AI and Machine Learning expert with over 30 years of experience. He has earlier been involved in building path breaking products like IBM Watson and has been responsible for AI/ML solutions in Financial, Retail, HR, and other domains. He has worked as Vice President of Enterprise AI at SymphonyAI and has also worked at the IBM Research in various capacities.
He is a PhD in Computer Science & Engineering from Oregon Health and Science University, and is an engineer in Computer Science and Engineering from IIT BHU.
