Neogen Chemicals Limited announced the re-appointment of Dr. Harin Kanani as Managing Director of the company, with effect from July 22, 2022.
Dr. Harin Kanani heads various business functions of the Company including research and development, business development, growth strategy, quality control, purchase, marketing and finance, a statement said.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a Master’s degree and a Doctorate in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the University of Maryland. He has served as a research fellow at the University of Maryland, U.S.A, where he published four first author manuscripts in the field of chemical engineering.
He has been a speaker at several national and international conferences. He has also participated in the Small and Medium Enterprises Programme from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He has previously worked with Asian Paints India Limited and has been a Research Scientist at Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., United States (a DuPont Company). He joined Neogen Chemicals Limited in 2008 as a General Manager and has been on the Board of the Company as a Director from July 15, 2013 and as a Managing Director from July, 22 2017, the statement said.
