Nestle India Limited announced the appointment of Alpana Parida as Independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of the company, with effect from June 1, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “this is to inform that the Special Resolution as set out in the Postal Ballot Notice dated 21s 1 April 2022 regarding appointment of Ms. Alpana Parida (DIN: 06796621) as an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company for a term of five consecutive years with effect from 1st June 2022, on the terms and conditions as contained in the draft letter of appointment, has been approved by the Members of the Company with requisite majority.”
Alpana Parida is the Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Tiivra Ventures Private Limited. She was the Managing Director of DY Works, a leading Business Design firm. Prior to this, she was the CMO and Head of Merchandising for TANISHQ. She has also worked across continents and was the CMO for North America of a natural food brand – giving her a first-hand experience of working across diverse cultures.
Alpana graduated from IIM-Ahmedabad (1985) and has a Bachelors in Economics from St. Stephen’s (1983).
