Nilesh Sangoi, former Meru CEO, has been appointed by Fincare Small Finance Bank as Chief Digital Officer and Head of Data Analytics division. Prior to this, Sangoi was the CEO of Meru Cabs from January 2017.
Nilesh has over 22 years of experience in building technology platforms for multiple businesses. His last assignment was with Meru Mobility Tech Pvt Ltd, which he joined at inception as Founder team member and CTO and built a pioneering technology platform. Prior to this, he was associated with Star as Head of Technology and helped build the technology backbone for their media and entertainment business. Nilesh holds a Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Maharashtra Board, has completed Certificate Program in Advanced Analytics from IIT Bombay and holds CISA and CISM certification.
Fincare has been a provider of microfinance loans for income generation purposes to women groups. It has more than 14 lakhs customers with a gross loan portfolio of Rs. 2,836 crores as on 31st December, 2018. Fincare Small Finance Bank has a suite of smart banking products such as Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, Fixed Deposits, NRI Fixed deposits and Recurring Deposits , Micro Loans, Cash Overdraft, Loans against Property, Loans Against Gold, Institutional Finance and Two-wheeler loans.
