Nitta Gelatin India Limited announced the appointment of K C Nair and Sajiv K Menon to its Board of Directors, with effect from May 6, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “the Board of Directors of the Company at their Meeting dated 06.05.2022 had among other things appointed the Prof. (Dr).M K C Nair as a Non-Executive Independent Director for a period of five years with effect from 06.05.2022 and Mr. Sajiv K. Menon as a Non Executive Non Independent Director with effect from 06.05.2022.”
Prof (Dr.) M. K. C. Nair is presently serving as Director, NIMS-SPECTRUM Child Development Research Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. He was the Founder Director of Child Development Centre, Kerala. Dr. Nair was the first recipient of a Doctor of Science in Medicine from Kerala. He received his training in research methodology from New Castle University, Australia and he is a renowned researcher in developmental and adolescent Paediatrics. He has published many books in developmental paediatrics, adolescent care counselling, parenting, premarital health counselling. He has written more than 200 articles in international and national journals.
A B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, PGDM (Finance & Marketing), from IIM, Bangalore, and a Fullbright Scholar at Carnegie Mellon University, USA, Sajiv K. Menon had a long tenure of more than 32 years’ experience in various capacities in Engineering and Chemical Industries before taking charge as Managing Director of Nitta Gelatin India Limited (NGIL) on 01.04.2014. Menon was instrumental in spearheading the growth of NGIL for the last eight years in the capacity of Managing Director.
