Voith Paper Fabrics India Limited (VPFV) announced the appointment of Pallavi Dinodia Gupta as Independent Woman Director on the company’s Board, with effect from May 29, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “we would like to inform you that Ms. Pallavi Dinodia Gupta has been appointed as an Independent Woman Director by the Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held today (adjourned from 24th, 25th & 27th May, 2022), subject to approval by shareholders, with immediate effect.”
Pallavi Dinodia Gupta is an established expert in taxation. In addition to her Chartered Accountancy expertise, she is trained as a lawyer and has worked with numerous global and domestic businesses in Europe, Asia and India over the past two decades. She regularly shares her views and perspectives at webinars and conferences organized by Chambers of Commerce like FICC], PHDCCI and professional institutes such as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI, the statement said.
VPFV was incorporated in India in the year 1968 by Porritts & Spencer UK, which later became a part of Scapa Group of U.K. In 1999, the Voith Group acquired major stake in the Company. The company changed its name from Porritts & Spencer (Asia) Limited to Voith Paper Fabrics India Limited in the year 2007.
