Hero Housing Finance has appointed Paramjit Singh Nayyar as Chief Human Resources Officer. He will report directly to Apul Nayyar, CEO and Executive Director of the company, according to ETHRWorld report.
In this new role, he will lead the HR function with the mandate to attract, engage and retain the best talent as the organisation aspires to grow at an exponential pace in the coming few years.
Besides, he will drive the objectives of reimagining employee experience, lead digital transformation, set up talent programmes, build leadership capability, offer high impact business partnering solutions and set up the culture of learning and development in an endeavour to make the organisation a talent magnet.
Most recently, P S Nayyar served Bharti AXA General Insurance as CHRO. Earlier, P S Nayyar worked with Bharti Airtel for over 12 years, most recently in the role of Head – HR (Vice President), India & South Asia – Core Functions. His other assignments include Global CHRO at VLCC Healthcare, CHRO at Apollo Munich, among others.
An alumnus of Harvard Business School and Jiwaji University, P S Nayyar had started his career with Aditya Birla Group in 2000.
