Pavithran Ayyala has joined Neuland Laboratories Limited as Chief Information & Digital Officer. He will be based out of Hyderabad and will report to the company’s Vice Chairman & MD Saharsh Davuluri.
Neuland Laboratories is a leading manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and an end-to-end chemistry-related solutions provider for the pharmaceutical industry. With two FDA-inspected facilities, 800+ DMFs, 1000+ employees and customers in more than 85 countries, Neuland supports some of the world’s best-known and most successful pharmaceutical research and manufacturing companies.
In the new role, Ayyala will be leading the technology vertical, digital transformation initiatives and will strategically manage IT to benefit the business.
Ayyala is a digital transformation leader and an enterprise architect with strong IT and OT experience. He joins Neuland from Japanese industrial automation firm Yokogawa after a two and a half year stint.
He has over 22 years of professional experience and has worked with companies like Dell, Hewlett Packard, Flowserve, and Sony in the past.
Ayyala completed his Masters in Computer Applications from Osmania University, and holds a BSc degree in Computer Science from Sri Krishnadevaraya University.
