Persistent Systems, the Pune based a software product and technology company has appointed Mritunjay Singh as its joint Chief Operating Officer (COO). He joins from Infosys, where he was the delivery head for the financial services and insurance application development and maintenance unit.
He has over 20 years of experience in the Financial Service, Insurance, Retail and Manufacturing industries. In his earlier roles Mritunjay has played multiple roles in areas such as Account Management, Delivery Management and Development Center Management across companies such as Infosys, Kanbay, S3C and Tata Steel. He has also led the Hinjewadi Industry Association in Pune for several years as President, working very closely with government to bring about systemic development to the high-tech area.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology in Electronics & Communications from IIT BHU, Varanasi.
