Hi-Tech Pipes Limited announced the appointment of R N Maloo as Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer of the company. He succeeds Arvind Kumar Bansal, who has resigned from the role of Chief Financial Officer due to personal reasons, with effect from June 21, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “the Board of Director has on the recommendation of Nomination and Remuneration Committee and approval of Audit Committee, approved the appointment of Mr. R N Maloo as an Executive Director & Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and designated as Key Managerial Personnel, CFO of the Company.”
Maloo is a rank holder Chartered Accountant (CA) and having an experience of 33 years, He has served at a CFO positions in Steel Pipes, Textiles, FMEG, Real estate, and manufacturing sector with Surya Roshni Ltd., RSWM Ltd., Banswara Syntex Ltd and Parsvnath Developers Ltd. in addition to being partner with reputed CA firm- M/s Kalani & Co, Jaipur initially.
His strength lies in creating strong businesses by sound financial management, operational excellence, improving ROCE, investor’s relationship and value creation for all the stakeholders by good governances and compliances. He is also having excellent exposure in direct and indirect taxation, EXIM and commercial matters as well as corporate affairs, etc. Being seasoned finance professional, he is well recognised and have high respect among Bankers, rating agencies, investors and business community, the statement said.
During his tenure with Surya and RSWM, the businesses had grown three times with much higher profitability and multifold increase in market capitalization. He has handled finances of over Rs. 20,000 cr. from Banks and PE funds. He is a team player and believes in Management by Objective, backed by strong MIS on critical issues, proactive decision making & planning through monthly corporate review meetings on financial, commercial and taxation matters, according to the company’s exchange filing.
