Hexaware Technologies has appointed Rajeev Kumar Mehta as its non-executive chairman. Earlier, Mehta was a board member in the company.
Mehta takes up the role from company founder Atul Nishar who will continue as chairman emeritus. He was earlier president at Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp.

Mehta served as president and worked in a variety of roles at Cognizant, including Group CEO-IT services and Group CEO-Industries and Markets, helping the company grow to over $16 billion during his tenure.
