Jindal Steel and Power Limited announced the appointment of Ramkumar Ramaswamy as Chief Financial Officer of the company, with effect from May 21, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “this is to inform that Mr. Ramkumar Ramaswamy, has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Person (KMP) of the Company under Section 203 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with Companies (Appointment and Remuneration of Managerial Personnel) Rules, 2014 with effect from May 21, 2022.”
Ramkumar Ramaswamy is a seasoned finance professional and brings with him rich and varied experience of over 25 years, managing finance teams in high growth business environments, driving growth in mature markets, driving business turnaround, long – term strategy development, designing and implementing governance, risk management and financial control frameworks, digital transformation, organizational design, large scale change management and coaching and leading teams in multi- cultural environments.
He brings with him rich functional experience across sales & marketing, supply chain, controllership, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investments, tax, shared services and digital transformation. Ramaswamy has diverse industry experience spanning across FMCG, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, metals, minerals, and natural resources.
Prior to joining the Company, Ramaswamy was with Vedanta Limited as CFO – Group Commercial & Marketing. He has also worked with Shell, Cadbury and Hindustan Unilever in his earlier assignments.
