RBL Bank has roped in Ravi Pichan as Chief Information Officer of the company, according to ET report.
In his 28-year career in the BFSI industry, Pichan has effectively handled complex portfolios of IT investments across organizations and geographies, led technology strategies and delivered transformation programs aligned with business strategy.
Pichan joins RBL Bank from HDFC Life, where he served as Chief Information and Technology Officer. He also held leadership positions at Larsen & Toubro Infotech, Capgemini, Barclays, and Bank of America.
Commenting on the appointment, R Subramaniakumar, Managing Director & CEO, RBL Bank, said, “Pichan joins us with an extensive background in delivering technology solutions that are cost-effective, innovative, and aligned to business strategy, which is the need of the hour considering the IT transformation underway at the bank.”
At RBL Bank, Pichan will be the driving force for digital transformation, which includes implementing agile and cost-effective solutions for improving operational efficiency, facilitating process automation and simplification of manual processing across the bank, and establishing a technology innovation hub to foster a culture of continuous innovation.
