Reliance Nippon Life Insurance has appointed Sunit Vakharia as Head of Information Technology, according to ET report.
Most recently, he was the Head- Consumer Banking Technology at DBS Bank, a role he held for over two years.
He was responsible for charting out the roadmap, planning and delivery of strategic capabilities for BOB Financial spanning back to front, and aligning with the firm’s broader strategy.
In a career spanning 19 years, Vakharia has worked extensively in the BFSI sector. He has a long-standing stint with HSBC.
He also held technology leadership positions with BoB Financial Solutions, U GRO Capital, Merill Lynch, ICICI Bank and DBS Bank. He also worked with SAS and Accenture.
