Sanjay Dattatraya Panse appointed to Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers board

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited announced the appointment of Sanjay Dattatraya Panse as an Independent Director of the company, effective December 27, 2021.

According to the company’s exchange filing, “we would like to inform that in pursuance to Ministry of Defence letter No. 11 (70)/2021 /Misc./D(NS) dated 24 December, 2021, the President of India has appointed Shri Sanjay Dattatraya Panse (DIN: 02725875) as PartTime Non-Official Director (Independent Director) on the Board of the Company for a period of three years.”

Sanjay Dattatraya Panse is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and also the founder and Senior Partner of S Panse & Co LLP, Chartered Accountants., Mumbai. He has experience of over 35 years, and a professional of repute having vast experience in the Financial and Capital Market.

He has deep understanding of Accounting, Audit and functioning of Financial Markets Sector Participants and has spearheaded practice of S Panse & Co LLP in the area of Audit, Quality Assurance Services, Due Diligence, Internal Audits, Advisory Services to the Mutual funds, Portfolio Managers, Banks, Insurance Companies and Other Intermediaries in Capital Market. He is a frequent speaker and writer on Economic and Financial Matters. He has served as Independent Director on the board of various companies, the statement said.
