Pearson, a company that provides content, assessment and digital services to learners, educational institutions, employers, governments and other partners globally, has appointed Siddharth Banerjee as the new Managing Director for India and Asia.
In his new role, Banerjee will work towards strengthening Pearson’s Direct To Consumer (D2C) strategy and Digital proposition while building a direct relationship with the education ecosystem in the region. His role will be effective from 6th July 2021, according to a statement.
Most recently, Banerjee served Games24x7 as CRO & Global CMO. Previously, Siddharth held leadership positions at organisations like Facebook, Vodafone and Unilever. He has over 21 years of vast experience in leading consumer-centric, technology-based businesses, the statement added.

Banerjee, who is an alumnus of La Martiniere College, Lucknow, has earned his MBA from FMS – Delhi and coupled it with executive education from ISB-Hyderabad, IIM-Ahmedabad, and the Harvard Business School.
