Siemens Limited announced the appointment of Willem Rudolf Basson as Director to the company’s board, effective February 4, 2022.
“This is to inform you that pursuant to the approval granted by the Members of the Company at their 64th Annual General Meeting held today, Mr. Willem Rudolf Basson (DIN: 09081871) is appointed as Director (Non-Executive, Non-Independent) of the Company, with effect from 4 th February 2022,” according to the exchange filing.
Willem Rudolf Basson, 52, has done his graduation in Commerce from Pretoria University, South Africa. He is the Chief Financial Officer of Digital Industries Business of Siemens AG.
In his professional career of over 25 years, Basson has held senior positions as Financial Controller / Chief Financial Officer in various geographies, in companies like Siemens, Continental and Philips, the statement said.
