Smytten, a D2C product discovery & trial platform, has appointed Deepak Dalai as Vice President, Engineering.
In his new role, Deepak will be responsible for building a world class tech infrastructure at Smytten with advanced application of Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. As VP-Engineering, Deepak will also be focusing on significantly expanding the engineering team to accelerate the organization’s progress and to bring disruptive solutions for both brands and consumers in the pre-purchase discovery & experience.
Deepak has more than 12 years of work experience and holds a master’s degree in Computer Science. Before joining Smytten, Deepak was working as CTO of LoveLocal, India’s largest aggregator of hyper-local retailers which is backed by the likes of Vulcan Capital and AC Ventures. He has held senior technology leadership roles at AgroStar, PubMatic and Amazon (India) and has deep expertise in big data, product design and building scalable high-performance systems.
