Retail payment app, Simpl, has roped in Sneha Arora as its Chief Human Resources Officer.
Arora comes with over 11 years of experience in HR across technology, retail and ecommerce industries. Before joining Simpl, Arora was working as VP – HR at Myntra where she was a part of the leadership team, championing and building people-first culture.
She has also worked as Director – HR at SAP where she was the HR leader for technology teams in India. Arora was also the HRBP Lead for technology board area for APJ, and led the Diversity & Inclusion charter for SAP India. At SAP, Arora acquired an extensive experience of working across geographies and developed a passion for creating Inclusion at workplaces.
Prior to SAP, Arora was working as an HR Manager at Flipkart where she led HR for all business, sales & marketing functions. In this role, she acquired extensive experience of leading people through change and building people centric processes. Arora started her career with Texas Instrument as a Management Trainee and was later on promoted to the role of HR Manager.
She was recognized as an Emerging HR leader in 2017 by People Matters, a Rising star in HR in 2018 by CII, and received Women HR Leadership Award in 2020 by ObserveNow, according to her LinkedIn page.
Arora holds a Master’s degree in HR from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
