Socomec, a global specialist in Low Voltage (LV) power management, announced the appointment of Nida Khanam, as the Head of Human Resources for the Greater India region (India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan & Nepal), according to ETHRWorld report.
At Socomec India, Khanam will be responsible for driving HR functions across commercial and plant operations, as well as spearheading initiatives to enhance employee engagement, talent development and organisational effectiveness.
Nisha Gupta Malhotra, the present HR Head of the organisation, will now support the mission of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) in the APAC region, according to a statement.
Khanam comes with 20 years of expertise in developing and leading HR strategy and processes, with a proven track record of driving HR transformation in diverse cultures and change management.
Prior to joining Socomec India, Khanam served as Chief People Officer at Omega Seiki Mobility. Previously, she worked at GROHE, Lixil Water Technology and Rockwell Automation.
