Sony has appointed Mr Kenichiro Hibi as Managing Director for Indian Operations with effect from July 1. Mr Masaru Tamagawa , who is presently in charge will move as President for Sony Europe. Mr Hibi has been heading Sony’s CIS operations as the Managing Director for last 6 years. Sony is looking at augmentation of Indian business and better growth in the present financial. The company is also looking forward to marginally increase its head count, as against the the lay offs being implemented globally, as announced earlier.
