SRF Limited, a chemical manufacturing company, announced the appointment of Ashish Bharat Ram as Chairman and Managing Director of the company, effective April 1, 2022. Kartik Bharat Ram has been re-designated as Joint Managing Director of the Company, with effect from April 1, 2022.
According to the company’s exchange filing, “the Board in its meeting held today approved the appointment of Mr. Ashish Bharat Ram as Chairman and Managing Director from April 1, 2022 subject to shareholders approval in the forthcoming Annua! General Meeting.”
Ashish Bharat Ram (53) is on the Board of SRF Ltd. since 2005. He has done his schooling from Doon School and graduation in Economics from the Hindu College, Delhi University with an emphasis on mathematics. He holds a Masters’ degree in Business Administration on Corporate Strategy with an emphasis on finance and strategy from The Johnson Graduate School of Management, Cornell University, USA and has 27 years’ working experience in senior positions including in the Company’s international subsidiaries. He is also serving on the Board of listed companies like KAMA Holdings Limited and Havells India Limited, the statement said.
