Standard Chartered Bank has announced the appointment of Tanuj Kapilashrami as its Chief Strategy and Talent Officer, effective April 1, according to ETHRWorld report.
Kapilashrami is currently working at the organisation as Global Chief Human Resources Officer. In her new role, Kapilashrami will take responsibility for the Bank’s Strategy, Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Property functions, in addition to Human Resources.
In this role, she will drive an end-to-end view on how the Bank shapes, executes and communicates its strategy, according to a statement.
Kapilashrami was appointed to Standard Chartered’s Global Management Team as CHRO in November 2018. She had joined the Bank in March 2017 as Group Head – Talent, Learning and Culture, and took on additional responsibility as Global Head – HR, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking in May 2018.
Previously, Kapilashrami worked at HSBC.
