Chandrasekaran (DIN: 01774322) as Additional Director (Independent Category) w.e.f September 27, 2022, subject to the approval of the shareholders and appointment of Mr. R. Seshadri (DIN: 00197586) as Additional Director (Independent Category) w.e.f September 27, 2022, subject to the approval of the shareholders.”
R. Seshadri is currently Director of Quick2Shelf Food Solutions Private Limited. Quick2Shelf operates in the food and allied vertical offering distribution solutions for various corporates. Seshadri has been associated with the Shriram Group of Companies for over 3 decades. He was, for a decade the Executive Director of Software company a niche software firm specializing in supply chain and healthcare verticals. Prior to that, he headed the operations of SembCorp Logistics (India) Pvt. Ltd. His work experience also includes stints with State Bank of India, Sothern Roadways Limited and Detergents India Limited.
He has been a Board Member in different private limited companies for a total period spanning over 10 years. He has also been a part of the senior management handling both line and staff functions for over three decades, particularly profit centre responsibilities, accounting and finance function and legal and secretarial responsibilities. His industry exposure is wide, covering logistics, manufacturing, IT and Distribution Services.
Seshadri is a qualified Cost Accountant and a Company Secretary and holds associate membership in both the Institutes. He is a Graduate of Commerce from the Madras University.
Chandrasekaran N, an alumnus of IFMR, Chennai, was conferred Ph.D. in Economics – Financial Management, University of Madras. He is a Certified Supply Chain Management Professional by APICS – American Association of Operations Management, USA.
Chandrasekaran has been part of the leadership team setting up Centres of Excellence in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has over twenty‐seven years of experience with corporate in India. He has worked for companies in industries including Information Technology, Venture Capital, Industry body, and Knowledge Processing. His work areas are strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions, Human Resources, Leadership Development, and Investor Relationship management. He has served as an Independent Director in a few firms in the business of supply chain solutions, distribution management, and healthcare solutions.
His consulting, research, corporate training, and teaching experience have been in Supply Chain Management, Operations Strategy, Logistics Infrastructure and Management, Service Operations, Strategy, and Analytics.
He has authored books individually and jointly, published by leading publishing houses like Oxford University Press of India, Taylor and Francis (USA), and Cengage Publications. He has published his own two titles, Incredible Champions Vol I and II, on leadership in the development sector; and authored for the industry association on Gender Parity. He has also published articles in journals of repute and research and industry forums.
