An online learning and teaching player, Udemy, has announced the appointment of Prasad Gune as senior vice president- Product. His role will be to lead the company’s product management, design, and UX research teams.
Earlier, Gune had worked as SVP(Product) at OpenTable, where he led a 70-person product and design team. As per the company’s release Gune holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
Udemy has also announced the appointment of Lydia Ventura Paterson to its Board of Directors. Lydia Ventura Paterson is the Chief Financial Officer for OLX Group, the online classifieds business of Prosus. Paterson was a Board of Directors member for the eBay Foundation, and in addition has served on other BODs in the US, South America, Europe, and Russia, as per the company’s statement in the release.
