Union Bank of India Limited announced the appointment of Anil Kuril as Chief General Manager of the Bank, with effect from March 2, 2024.
According to the Bank’s exchange filing, “In terms of Regulation 30 and 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform that Shri Anil Kuril, General Manager of the Bank will be elevated to the post of Chief General Manager of the Bank w.e.f. 02.03.2024.”
Anil Kuril is an engineering graduate, Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB) and a seasoned Banker with around three decades of experience. He has held the position of Chief Technology Officer as a General Manager of the Bank. Prior to that, he has served at various positions right from Information Technology Division, Central Audit & Inspection, Chief Information Security Officer and as a Zonal Head.
He has also attended a program on leadership development on capacity building from University of Applied Sciences NW at Switzerland, focused leadership development programme from ISB Hyderabad, Cyber Surakshit Bharat by Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Govt. of India, International Programme on Information Assurance and Management at Hyderabad & New York by IDRBT, G20 India Presidency – Cyber Security Exercise by Cyber Security & IT Risk Group, Department of Supervision, RBI and also underwent the leadership development programme for Senior Management curated by FSIB at IIM Bengaluru.
