Union Bank of India Limited announced the appointment of Omprakash S Karwa as Chief Risk Officer of the Bank, with effect from September 29, 2022.
According to the bank’s exchange filing, “we hereby inform that the Board of Directors of the Bank, at its meeting held on September 29, 2022 nominated Shri Omprakash S Karwa, General Manager of the Bank as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the Bank for a period of One year from September 29, 2022.”
Karwa is a Commerce Graduate and qualified Chartered Accountant. He worked as In-charge of Treasury department and DGM of Finance & Accounts and MSME Departments of the Bank. Presently, he is heading the Risk Management Department of the Bank as General Manager.
