Ursula Morgenstern has been appointed as Cognizant’s president of Global Growth Markets (GGM) and a member of Cognizant’s Executive Committee, effective from Dec 14, 2020.
Prior to this role, Morgenstern served Atos for over 16 years, where she held several roles, including CEO of Germany and UK/Ireland, as well as leading the Business and Platform solutions global divisions.
In her new role at Cognizant, Morgenstern will focus on diversifying the company’s revenue mix across Europe and Asia Pacific by accelerating digital within Cognizant’s priority areas of digital engineering, AI and analytics, cloud, and IoT, the IT giant said in a statement.
She will also focus on investing in local leadership and talent and extending delivery footprint to access talent globally, it added.
