Vishal Mega Mart has appointed Dhruva Kumar Dubey as its Chief Human Resources Officer, according to ETHRWorld report. Dubey joined the company on September 19. He is based in Gurugram (Delhi-NCR).
He has more than two decades of experience in human resources across industries such as Retail, Banking, ITES and Internet startups.
Dubey has partnered with leaders to enable organisation change, encourage leadership development, build talent capability and to develop robust employee value proposition, according to a statement.
“HR has to deliver relevant, measurable and impactful people solutions that propel business growth, build sustainable organisation and attract, develop and retain the best talent,” says Dubey.
Prior to joining Vishal Mega Mart, Dubey was associated with Spencer’s Retail for more than seven years, most recently as the Head of Business HR and the Head of Learning & Development. He has also worked as Vice President and Head – HR at Quikr, Director – HR at Dell, Head – HR at Cisco Spaces, and Senior VP – HR at HSBC.
Dubey holds a Master’s in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE – Mechanical) from Dr D Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune.
