Whirlpool Corporation has roped in Hemlata Goel as Director – Global Back Office (GBO) and Asia HR Operations, according to ET report.
In this new role, Goel will lead the Global Back Office, which supports HR services globally, and Asia HR operations. She will be based in Gurugram.
Goel comes with 18 years of diverse HR experience in devising as well as managing end-to-end HR strategies, hire to retire lifecycle and processes.
Before joining Whirlpool, Goel was working as Director – Global Shared Services and HR Transformation at Axtria – Ingenious Insights. Goel claims to have deep expertise in HR integration during mergers & acquisitions, partnering business turnarounds, HR analytics, shared services, coaching, client management, talent acquisition, and driving region wide CSR initiatives.
She has led and managed HR for varied COEs: Commercial, Research & Analytics, Healthcare, Finance Shared Services, IT Backoffice spanning headcount from 800 to 3,000; managed global HR transformation for HRMS platforms: Success Factors, Workday, Sage, Service Now Ticketing.
Goel holds a Post Graduate Degree in Business Analytics & Decision Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Master’s Degree in HR from Pune University.
