Yamaha Motors, has appointed Masaki Asano as the Deputy Managing Director for its Indian operations. In this role Masaki Asano would be reporting to Hiroyuki Suzuki, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
Asano is a Yamaha Veteran, and has been with the group since 1981. He was previously heading the Yamaha Motor Vietnam as President, and had been in the role since 2007. Earlier on he has been with Yamaha Motor Co in Japan, Indonesia, Portugal, Italy and South America.
Hiroyuki Suzuki, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director said on his appointment – “His experience of over three decades in different markets globally will certainly help put together some great ideas that will work wonders for the company. ”.
