Zoomcar, a marketplace for car sharing in emerging markets, announced the appointment of Ashu Singhal as its Chief Technology & Product Officer.
In his new role, Singhal will be overseeing the overall product strategy and engineering execution to deliver excellent customer experience across all the markets where Zoomcar operates. He will be directly responsible for product vision & strategy, product design, product development, product marketing, user research and analytics functions, according to a statement.
Prior to joining Zoomcar, Singhal headed the Fulfilment and Marketplace team at Grab Holdings Inc, an application-based transportation, grocery, food and parcel delivery services platform. He has also worked at companies like Microsoft, Walmart Labs and Ola.
