EY (formerly Ernst & Young) to hire 23000 professionals for the year 2020. The company will also scale its India operations as EY’s largest workforce outside of the US.
As per data, EY has over 50000 working professionals in India. The company has already hired 11,000 professionals and plans to hireanother 12,000 by June 30 next year.
The company is planning to hire more than 50% professionals from STEM(science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields.
In a statement, Julie Linn Teigland, Managing Partner, EY (EMEIA), said, “We see India as an amazing base to service our business throughout the world, from a tech perspective, a process perspective and also the human talent element.”
