Infosys and TCS are gearing up to set up their facilities in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The state has been trying to position itself as a preferred destination for corporates.
Infosys project is expected to be completed over five years is expected to generate about 13,000 jobs.
As per the MOU between Infosys and the MP government, Infosys is planning an investment of Rs. 600 Crs on its proposed project in MP. Infosys facility would be set up on about 130 acres of land on the Indore-Ujjain Super Corridor.
TCS and Wipro, are amongst other IT majors with plans to sign up for investments in the state. It is learnt that 100 acres of land has already been allotted to TCS on the Indore-Ujjain Super Corridor, where in it plans to sett up its Global Delivery Centre.
