Datacolor AG, a global leader in color management solutions, announces its acquisition of matchmycolor LLC, a technology company specializing in color formulation and communication software.
matchmycolor will integrate Datacolor from January 1, 2023. Acquisition and integration costs will impact fiscal years 2022/23 and 2023/24. This strategic acquisition strengthens Datacolor’s market position and expands its global presence in the color management industry, the statement said.
With over 50 years of experience in the industry, Datacolor has established itself as a trusted global provider of color management solutions, serving customers across many industries such as the textile industry and apparel, the paint, dye and plastics industry, and the growing consumer market. The acquisition of matchmycolor is part of Datacolor’s vision to continually invest in strengthening its comprehensive portfolio of high-precision hardware and software solutions, as well as its market-leading global sales and service organization, to help even more customers achieve perfect colors, the statement said.
