SingleInterface, a marketing software startup, said it has raised $30 million in its first external funding from investors led by Asia Partners, according to ETtech report.
The Gurgaon-based company will use the capital to develop its product and expand across markets of Southeast Asia and in newer markets such as Japan and Australia, its cofounder and chief executive, Tarun Sobhani, told ET. The company’s primary revenue come from India.
The funding round also saw participation from PayPal Ventures.
SingleInterface was founded and incubated in 2015 as part of Smile Group by Sobhani and Harish Bahl. Bahl is also the founder of Smile Group.
The software-as-service platform helps its clients across sectors with digital marketing, customer engagement and ecommerce-related offerings. Its clientele includes KFC, Pizza Hut, Nissan, Apollo Tyres, HDFC Bank, TVS Motors and group companies Tata, Reliance, Aditya Birla and Bajaj.
The company aims to generate about 65% of its revenue from India and 35% from Southeast Asia in the coming quarters, Sobhani said. It also plans to double its headcount to around 470 over the next four months or so.
“With more than 400 million local businesses worldwide, SingleInterface has immense untapped potential in the global market,” said Bahl.
