GoPaisa goes on hiring spree, plans to double headcount

GoPaisa, a product and offer aggregator functioning within the e-commerce space, has announced aggressive hiring plans for the new financial year. The brand plans to double its manpower in the bid to widening its outreach. 

“During the unprecedented times wherein, people are facing shortage of jobs and lay-offs, the hiring announcement by the leading affiliate marketing player comes as a cheer for talented professionals. Currently, the brand has around 45 employees and plans to take the number up to 100 in the new fiscal,” the company said in its release.

The hiring announcement comes in line with the brand’s plans of global outreach and expansion. The company plans to hire majorly under Technology and Business Development department which will strengthen to further advance the platform and support to cater the growth better, it said.

“Currently, we are focusing on strengthening the platform and our team. Once things return to normalcy, we will go all out to expand our business and presence across the globe. Until then, it is time for us to have our manpower and technology in place so that once the ball starts rolling there are no hiccups. To achieve the same, we are on a lookout for talented professionals that are also passionate about ecommerce industry and share the same energy,” said Ankita Jain- CO-Founder, GoPaisa.

The new employees would majorly be for the Delhi NCR region where the startup has set its tech base.

With the e-commerce boom in the country, GoPaisa has steadily tied up with leading players such as Amazon, Flipkart, Jabong, Ajio, 1mg, Medlife, Mamaearth, Beardo, Makemytrip, ManCompany & many more amongst others to bring the best of deals to consumers. 

Until now, the startup already served over 3.5 million customers pan India. It further plans to take this number up to 5 million-plus customers, by end of fiscal 2021.
