Novelis Inc., a provider of sustainable aluminum solution and a global leader in aluminum rolling and processing, announced it has signed a partnership agreement with Airbus to enable closer collaboration between the two companies will help develop aluminum solutions for tomorrow’s aircraft.
This agreement, based on a strong partnership between Novelis and Airbus, will accelerate the pace of joint R&D programs between the companies. Novelis, a strategic supplier of aluminum plates and sheets to Airbus, promotes the development of aircraft design, materials and manufacturing with a focus on sustainability.
“Novelis is convinced that this Agreement will allow us to fully exploit the potential of circulating aluminum as a material that can be recycled countless times without loss of performance,” said Philippe Meyer, Novelis senior vice president and chief technology officer .
