Tata Steel was awarded the ‘Disaster Management Excellence’ award by IFSEC India on December 19, 2019. The Award was received by James Jojo, one of the Disaster Management Competency Network team members at a ceremony held at Greater Noida.
IFSEC awards are prestigious awards recognizing excellence and innovation of the thought leaders of the industry and are chosen by esteemed judges at the Jury Meet.
Gopal Prasad Choudhary, Chief of Security and Brand Protection, Tata Steel, said, “Tata Steel has a robust process on safety and disaster management and it has been collaborating with the NDMA and NDRF, Govt of India to build in-house competency for management of emergency during any crisis or disaster.”
