Ricoh is the first player in the Office & IT Solutions Business that has chosen the Heart of the Business District at Salt Lake in Kolkata as the venue for its Business Zone. The company will operate its various Business facilities like Data Centre, Technical Training Centre, Business Centre, Customer Experience Zone and BPO/Business Auxiliary initiatives. The 100 seater Business Centre is fully equipped to meet the complete requirements for Ready to move in Office Facilities, including Conference Facilities, Video Conference Facilities and Training Centre. These facilities will be available to customers on hire. This unit will also house the state of the art Data Center for Ricoh Cloud and Hosting Services. It would act as the primary hub for Information Security and will complement the existing Data Centre of Ricoh India at its Head Office in New Delhi. With this, Ricoh India will now be fully compliant with the requirements of the Information Security practices which necessitate location of Primary and Secondary Data Centers in different geographical locations/seismic zones.

At the launch here, Ricoh also introduced the concept of virtual Receptionist, using the 3D feature of its Ultra Short Throw Projector (PJWX4130N) which is the world’s smallest & lightest projector .This product will go a long way in enhancing the work efficiency across various Business segments.
